Portrait of Hannah Brady

I am a musician, teacher, and composer who has worked both privately and in schools, acquiring many years of experience. I am also a performing musician, having studied jazz saxophone at Birmingham Conservatoire.

I currently teach private pupils of all ages and abilities in Sheffield, as well as leading a weekly improvisation workshop on behalf of Sheffield Jazz. My main instrument is the saxophone but I also teach the clarinet and the recorder. My lessons are fun, relaxed and tailored to your needs, whether you want to play for fun or pursue specific goals.

As a peripatetic music teacher, I taught whole class vocal and instrumental sessions which led me to develop

"In the Gap" as an accessible resource for teachers to incorporate improvisation into their lessons.
